Technical paper of IAS Sandeep to be presented

Jaipur: A technical paper of IAS Sandeep Verma has been accepted by the Scientific Committee of International Public Procurement Conference-9. It will be presented at the IPPC-2024 to be hosted by the Umm Al Quwain University, United Arab Emirates.

Subject of the paper is ‘Concerns with adoption of Swiss Challenge method of public procurement using Hyperloop’. As per the organizers of the conference, they have so far received over 226 paper proposals from across the world. But out of these, only about 100 full papers will be accepted for presentation in the conference. There will be about 300 participants from about 50 countries and major International organizations.

Sandeep Verma is IAS of 1993 batch and at present ACS of Public Works Department Rajasthan. He has served as Director of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence GoI (2010-2013). He was on duty pursuing LLM at George Washington University, USA.

He has expertise on public procurement systems and related rules. He is a regular and permanent tutor for his expertise subject in LBSNAA Mussoorie. He even takes classes of defence personnel on this subject in Mussoorie. He has so far written and submitted more than 50 papers for universities, institutions and organizations across the world. Actually, Sandeep Verma has a hobby to study, learn and teach.
