Task force & student pledge drive against drugs: CS

Jaipur: The Bhajanlal government is extreemly serious in exterminating drugs from Rajasthan and in this connection, a major meeting was held for the first time in this N-CORD on Thursday. The meeting lasted for two and a half hours under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant and it was decided that a task force will be formed against drugs & oath will be administered to 10 lakh students on NCB foundation day on March 17 for not consuming drugs. NCB Zonal Director Ghanshyam Soni said, “Students will be given a pledge to stay away from drugs. A campaign will run against illegal cultivation of opium and Cannabis and action will be taken against Patwaris if illegal farming is found.

Smoking items will not be sold within 100 meters of educational institutions & licenses of stores will be cancelled for selling drugs.
