Tantrik dupes man of lakhs on pretext of financial prosperity

Jaipur: A man was allegedly duped of lakhs of rupees by a tantrik on the pretext of luring him with rains of cash. Police informed an FIR has been filed at JaiSinghpura Khor Police Station on court complaint. “The accused have been identified as Akbar Khan and Sawan Khan. The complainant, Jameel Khan, alleged that he met Akbar Khan, a resident of Uttarakhand, through Sawan Khan. Akbar Khan, a tantrik, lured him by promising cash rains of Rs 9 crores on Jumme Ki Raat. The victim even sold the plot that he had kept for his daughter’s marriage and gave the money to the accused,” police said.

“When cash rains did not happen as promised, the victim realised that he had been duped by Akbar Khan and Sawan Khan. A case has been filed and the matter is being investigated,” police added.
