Students protest for union polls in RU, four detained
Jaipur: On Friday, a protest was held by taking out a foot march in Rajasthan University demanding student union elections. During this, the police closed the main gate to stop the protesting students. At the same time, the protesting students climbed the main gate and tried to go to JLN Marg. The police chased them away by using mild force and four protesting students were taken into custody.
In morning at 11:30, a large number of students gathered in Rajasthan University under the leadership of student leader Shubham Rewad. At around 12 o’clock, the students took out a rally and reached the main gate of Rajasthan University where they held a protest. The police stopped everyone by using mild force and four students including Shubham were taken into custody.
