Student Union Election Results: Nirmal Choudhary wins Presidential elections for Rajasthan University by 1300 votes

Jaipur: Nirmal Choudhary who ran for Student Union Election as an independent candidate, was able to secure an easy win to become the President of Rajasthan University. This is the fifth time an independent candidate has won the presidential post. Nirmal Choudhary has defeated Niharika Jorwal, daughter of Minister Murarilal Meena from National Students' Union of India (NSUI), Ritu Barala of NSUI and Narendra Yadav of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in a close contest.
  
Nirmal Chaudhary has won the election by more than 1300 votes. At the same time, NSUI's Sanjay has won the post of General Secretary.
