Stir ends but now docs hit at bureaucrats for misleading
Jaipur: The movement of private doctors against the Right to Health Bill may have ended but the stand of the doctors has not yet softened towards the bureaucracy. After the strike was ended following talks by the state government, the IMA held a press conference regarding the bill. The doctors targeted the bureaucrats accusing them of misleading the government and getting the bill passed.
Doctors said that action should be taken against such officers. However, the doctors who led the agitation claimed that more than 95 percent of the private hospitals will not be covered under the RTI.
However, they could not present the number of hospitals which will be left out of the ambit of the bill as per the agreement with the state government.
