Stay away from corruption: JDC
Jaipur: On the lines of PM Narendra Modi’s ‘Na khaunga, na khane dunga’, JDA commissioner Anandi sternly told the engineers in a meeting on Sunday that she has a zero tolerance policy towards corruption and negligence.
In the first review meeting of the engineering branch, Anandi said, “I don’t indulge in corruption and will I allow anyone to do so. As long as I am here, this will be strictly enforced. It is better that all engineers improve their habits.” Director to executive engineer level officers were present in the meeting.
Anandi further said that she should not receive any request for favours for any work or zone. If such things gappen, strict action will be taken by the commissioner herself.
“I’m already getting such requests from several engineers. I am warning everyone to stay away from this. I have done nothing wrong in my 18 years of service.
My passion is only for the work that is done with good intention. If someone is wrong, I will first suspend the person and then seek clarification,” commissioner JDA, Anandi said.
