State govt starts e-auction of 61 royalty contracts

Jaipur: State govt has started auction process of 61 royalty contracts in 26 dists on e-platform for recovery of revenue due on mineral coming out of mining leases. Additional CS Mines & Petroleum Department Dr Subodh Agrawal informed that royalty collected as Royalty collection contract (RCC), access royalty collection contract (ERCC) will be given to Dist level Mineral Foundation Trust, State Level Mineral Exploration Trust.

He said that e-auction notices of these contracts with a reserve amount of more than Rs 482 cr 40 lakh have been issued. These contracts for recovery are under jurisdiction of Mineral Engineers of 26 districts. Director KB Pandya informed that in contracts of more than Rs 10 cr, contractor will have to install computerized weighing machine at his own cost.
