State Cong to protest against inflation today

Jaipur: The State Congress is going to hold a massive protest against inflation in all the districts of the state including the capital Jaipur on Friday. The leaders and workers will also ‘gherao’ the Raj Bhawan after the protest. However, it will only be a symbolic ‘gherao.’ PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasra said, "Workers should protest at all district and block levels. Protest against inflation and unemployment and give your arrest."

From 10 am on August 5, the State Congress will stage a sitin at the Civil Lines railway crossing, in which Dotasra, members of the state executive, ministers and MLAs along with party workers and frontal organisations will take part. The Congress has held several protests. On 13 June, a foot march and sit-in was held outside the ED office, on June 16, a protest was held outside the Raj Bhawan against ED, on June 19, a Tiranga Yatra was held against Agnipath, on June 27, demonstrations in all 200 assembly constituencies were held against Agnipath, on July 21 & 22 dharnas against Agnipath in 400 block for two days.
