STALEMATE GOES ON AS TALKS FAIL
Jaipur: The uproar over the recruitment of sanitation staff does not seem to die down. The government has postponed the recruitment notification and the strike of the sanitation workers continues. The government called the employees to the secretariat for talks. A 25-member delegation held talks but the talks remained inconclusive.
However, the officials said to call the employees for talks again after conducting a legal examination. After the meeting, Nandkishore Dandoria, president of United Valmiki and Labour Union, said that they were adamant on taking out recruitment advertisements without reservation. “Government is talking about a legal test. When there is order then where is the need for the test. We will be on strike until our demands are met,” he said.
