ST-19 sighted with two cubs in Sariska

Jaipur: A wonderful news has come out from Sariska tiger reserve where tigress ST-19 has been sighted with two cubs. It is result of intensive monitoring, development of grasslands and vigorous work being done in direction of tiger conservation that there is continuous rise in number of tigers in Sariska.

The tigress was caught in a camera trap with her two cubs. With this, the tiger population in Sariska has increased to 30. CM Ashok Gehlot tweeted the news along with a photo.

Forest & Environment Min Hemaram Choudhary expressed happiness after hearing the news and congratulated the top officials of the Forest Department, especially ACS Shikhar Agarwal, PCCF Hoff Munish Garg, Chief Wildlife Warden Arindam Tomar and all the officers of Team Sariska including the trekkers.

DFO Devendra Singh Jagawat has given special instructions to forest officers for more vigilance and surveillance in this area.
