SoP for security needed to use private choppers in Raj

Jaipur: The use of helicopters in private events has increased in recent times, it has raised questions about safety. Due to this, the need is being felt for civil aviation and private administration to issue a fresh SOP regarding precaution at the time of use of helicopter in private events.

The growing trend of helicopters has given rise to many questions related to security.

In order to make the helicopter approachable by the Central and the State Govt, the State govt had issued instructions in October 2019 to all the collectors no NoC was required to land or take of helicopter on private land and only the District Collector had to be informed that day.

In Pali, Sirohi, Jodhpur, Jalore and Barmer, helicopters are more commonly used for showering flowers in wedding ceremonies and religious events.
