SOG acts in paper leak, picks up 15 under trainee Sub-Inspectors

Jaipur: In a major crackdown in paper leak case, the SOG on Monday detained 12 sub-inspectors (SIs) who were undergoing training at Rajasthan Police Academy (RPA). Also, one female trainee SI Chanchal Vishnoi was detained from Kishangarh Training Center and one each from Bhinmal & Gudhamalani. Teams have brought 15 SIs to Jaipur SOG headquarters for questioning and further investigation.

After the interrogation of Jagdish Vishnoi, the mastermind of JEN recruitment paper leak who was arrested on Feb 29, many shocking revealation has come to light. Based on that, SOG took this action. Jagdish had also provided papers to all the candidates in SI Recruitment. 25 SIs undergoing training in RPA were found suspicious following which scrutiny of their documents was started.

After getting permission from RPA Director, SOG team detained accused trainees. Meanwhile, SIT head VK Singh is in constant touch with CMO. VK Singh and his team have also got appreciation.
