Jaipur: The ACB raided the house and hospital of Dr Ranjan Lamba of SMS Hospital on Thursday in a case related to disproportionate assets. The teams raided 5 places including Ranjan’s home and hospital in Jaipur, Jhunjhunu and Sikar.

DG ACB Rajeev Sharma had received information about many properties owned by Lamba.

Raids were carried out at a hospital and Lamba’s house. The ACB team is also investigating a flat and residence in Sikar. Documents of 22 residential and agricultural plots in name of the accused and family members were found.

He had invested in residential and commercial plots and flats around Jaipur whose market value is worth crores. Besides, the ACB found several bank accounts of Lamba and his family. Lamba is believed to have acquired the property while holding the post of Medical Officer at SMS Hospital.
