Jaipur: Shri Kshatriya Yuvak Sangh will mark the 100th birth anniversary of its founder, Tan Singhji, with a grand event on January 28 at New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. This monumental gathering will assemble Rajputs nationwide, including politicians, officials, industrialists, and esteemed personalities, to honour Tan Singhji’s enduring legacy and advocate for social cohesion.

Sixteen special trains have been booked from Rajasthan for people to reach Delhi.

The event has been organised under the patronage of Shri Kshatriya Yuvak Sangh’s patron Bhagwan Singh Rolsahabsar and its chief Laxman Singh Bainyakabas. The duo took stock of the preparations for the function at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Saturday.

Tan Singhji, a visionary Kshatriya leader, established Shri Kshatriya Yuvak Sangh in 1946 at the tender age of 22 to instil Kshatriya values among Rajput youth.

Through numerous camps and affiliated organisations, the Sangh imparts the essence of the Kshatriya ethos, as elucidated in the teachings of Lord Shri Krishna. Born in Bersiala village on January 25, 1924, Tan Singhji’s early life was marked by adversity. Despite losing his father at a young age, he pursued education and excelled, eventually venturing into politics. Elected MLA at 28 and MP twice, Tan Singhji’s tenure was characterised by integrity and commitment to national interest.

His contributions extended beyond politics. He bravely protested the unjust ban on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, exemplifying his commitment to justice and societal welfare. A distinguished scholar proficient in Sanskrit, Hindi, English, and Rajasthani languages, Tan Singhji authored numerous influential works, including the acclaimed compilation ‘Jhankar.’

At the core of Tan Singhji’s legacy is his founding of Shri Kshatriya Yuvak Sangh, a testament to his commitment to societal upliftment. Through his teachings, he emphasised importance of responsibility in Sanatan culture, inspiring generations to serve society and nation.

Despite his premature demise in 1979, Tan Singhji’s impact reverberates through the ongoing endeavors of Shri Kshatriya Yuvak Sangh. As the nation commemorates his 100th birth anniversary, individuals from diverse backgrounds will converge at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium to pay homage and reaffirm their dedication to his ideals.

His spiritual depth transcended societal boundaries. He advocated for social work as a path to divine connection, elucidating his philosophy in ‘Sadhana Path.’

In his short life, Tan Singhji left an indelible mark on Indian society. His vision, embodied by Shri Kshatriya Yuvak Sangh, continues to empower the youth towards the betterment of religion, culture, and humanity.

On January 28, 2024, as the nation gathers to honor his legacy, Tan Singhji’s influence serves as a beacon of inspiration, transcending generations and fostering unity across the Indian landscape.
