Shekhawat’s stature raised after Yamuna water MoU

Jaipur: Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat made Chief Ministers of Haryana and Rajasthan sign MoU to supply surplus Yamuna water to Rajasthan. The movement ‘Yamuna’s water is my right’ was started by Shekhawat and the MoU has raised Shekhawat’s stature.

There may be a big upheaval in Shekhawati in the upcoming LS elections. BJP’s Rajput candidate may be from one place in Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Churu and Nagaur. Two Rajput faces of Shekhawati, former minister Rajendra Singh Rathore and state president of World Human Rights Protection Association Fateh Singh Shekhawat, are popular.
