Seven IAS reshuffled in Raj Govt Departments

Jaipur: On Saturday, after the transfer of seven IAS officers, Krishna Kunal was given the responsibility of School Education Secretary in place of Naveen Jain. Jain has once again returned to planning after being in school education for nine-and-a-half months. He held this post in the Cong government and has now returned.

During his tenure as School Education Secretary, Jain had banned CCL and PL of women employees in view of the board exams, against which teacher unions and employee unions protested and complained to the CM. Krishna Kunal was transferred from the post of WCD Secretary within two months and he was given an important department like education.

Bhavani Singh Detha could remain in full charge of Planning Secretary only for one month and now he will get the responsibility of Youth and Sports Affairs Secretary. After holding the post of Sikar Divisional Commissioner for about seven months, IAS officer Mohanlal Yadav was transferred to the post of WCD Secretary. Earlier, when Sikar was formed as a new division, he had held the post of OSD in Sikar for about two months, after which he was made the Divisional Commissioner in the newly formed Sikar division and now Ghanendra Bhan Chaturvedi has been given this responsibility in his place.

Mahendra Soni has been sent to Ajmer as Revenue Board member from HCM RIPA, Jaipur, V Sarwan Kumar has been retained as Secretary in Science and Technology and has also been given the responsibility of the post of Commissioner. Besides, IAS officer Narendra Gupta has been given the additional charge of the post of Land Management Commissioner.
