Schools to be re-opened after seeking expert advice: Gehlot
Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has expressed hope that the Centre may issue guidelines soon in the matter of opening educational institutions.
On Monday, Gehlot interacted with Dr VK Paul, member of NITI Aayog and chairman of National Committee on Covid Vaccination on the issue of reopening of educational institutions. After the discussion, Gehlot said that it is expected that the Central Government can issue detailed guidelines in this matter soon.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot further stressed that opening of schools is a sensitive issue and no decision will be made in a hurry on the matter.
He also said that it is difficult to predict what will be the mood of Corona now.
“We will take a decision soon in this matter according to the opinion of the experts and the sentiments of the parents,” the Chief Minister said.
It is worth noting that with the decrease in the cases of corona in the state, parents and student are hoping for re-opening of schools, however, there are those too, who are afraid of the third wave & are against opening of schools till the time the situation is under control & time is safe for kids.
