Jaipur: Amid preparations for elections in the state, electricity department employees are facing difficulties. In several districts, electricity employees have been deployed on election duty. Chief Energy Secretary Bhaskar A Sawant has written a letter to the Rajasthan CEO regarding this. He urged the Chief Electoral Officer to exempt electricity company employees from election duty, considering the power crisis in the state.

Sawant also mentioned the head book issued by the EC, which mentions need to keep electricity company employees free from election duty. Help can be taken only for maintaining power supply system in elections.
