Saras will be No. 1 brand like Amul soon: CM

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot says that BJP creates propaganda around bovines ‘as if we are not Hindus, but our government has given maximum grant for cows. ’Speaking to the media on Friday at the inauguration of Rajasthan Kisan Mahotsav at JECC, Sitapura, he said, “At present Amul brand runs in the country but one day it will come that Saras will be number one.”

In the program, he demanded PM Modi to implement the Social Security Act in the country and said that the crop insurance claim of the previous government was Rs 7,000 crore and that of our government was Rs 18,000 crore.

“They gave 42 thousand crores for agriculture power subsidy, so we are giving 61 thousand crores. M o n e y has been transferred into the accounts of 42 thousand animal herders of Rajasthan as compensation amount for the dead cattle from Lumpy disease. This will give relief to the animal herders. The animal herders had not even imagined this. The Centre had promised to double the farm income, which we have fulfilled,” he said.
