Santhosh calls for stronger membership push in State

Jaipur: The two-day organizational meeting of the BJP started under National Organization General Secretary BL Santhosh to review the membership campaign and discuss the strategy for the by-election. State in-charge Radha Mohan Aggarwal, BJP state prez Madan Rathore and state convener of membership campaign Arun Chaturvedi attended the meeting.

Santhosh expressed dissatisfaction over the low membership numbers and took feedback from the district conveners on progress of campaign. When an incharge mentioned that the ongoing farming season affected the drive as most, Santosh suggested they go to the fields if necessary. Santosh said that there are a large number of elected public representatives in Rajasthan and District Council, Panchayat Committee members and councillors should be connected with the campaign. More than 23 lakh members have been made in BJP Rajasthan against the set target of 25 lakhs till September 25.

BJP state president Madan Rathore said, “Let’s get involved in making the membership campaign a success. This is my appeal to all leaders and workers.” Also, BJP national president JP Nadda may come to Jaipur on 5th or 6th October to to review BJP’s membership campaign.
