Sanitation workers’ strike enters day 2
Jaipur: The strike by Valmiki sanitation workers in Jaipur entered its second day, with no cleaning work being carried out in the city. The workers have been protesting the requirement of an affidavit for experience certificates. Talks with the Commissioner on Tuesday ended in failure, prompting workers to gather again at the Heritage Corporation headquarters on Wednesday. In a related development, a new controversy has emerged involving former union president Nandkishore Dadoria.
It has been revealed that Dadoria used a fake 10thgrade mark sheet to secure a job. Following this, the govt is preparing to take action against him. The Non-Valmiki Workers’ Union has demanded his dismissal.
