Sanitation workers could not meet Kharra, strike continues

Jaipur: Amid the ongoing strike by sanitation workers in Jaipur, the scheduled meeting with the Urban Development and Housing Minister could not take place on Thursday. The meeting, which was to address the workers’ concerns, has now been rescheduled for Friday, at 2:00 PM at the UDH Minister’s residence.

The workers are on strike due to the requirement of an affidavit in the experience certificates, which they argue is an unnecessary and burdensome condition. The sanitation workers hope that tomorrow’s discussions will lead to a resolution of the issue.

Until then, the sanitation workers’ strike will continue, with no immediate resolution in sight.
