Sandhu: Issue more leases in PSKS, focus on Knowledge City

Jaipur: Under the chairmanship of UDH Advisor GS Sandhu, a review meeting was held to assess the progress of Jaipur Development Authority in the Prashasan Shehron ke Sang Campaign, where special emphasis was laid on distribution of 2.5 lakh leases by JDA. The state govt has given a target of distributing one lakh leases to JDA. Sandhu said that the govt expects that out of the total target of 1,00,000 leases, 25% of the total target of the campaign, which is 2.5 lakh leases, should be distributed by JDA.

According to the data, about 12,000 leases are to be distributed in the approved schemes. 46,000 in JDA’s schemes, 50,000 in private accounts and 24,000 leases can be distributed in the approved schemes of society. Regarding the JDA Knowledge City South plan located on Chittauda Road on Diggi Malpura Road, he said what First India News had reported, if the JDA focuses on the area, it can be a boon. He said that the focus should be on the area between Knowledge City South, Fagi Road and Tonk Road. The entire area can be developed as a new satellite town. JDA Commissioner Ravi Jain instructed zone 14 Deputy Commissioner Meena to comply with Sandhu’s instructions.
