SAINTS ON TOUR OF BRAJ WITH ASHES

Bharatpur: Following the death of Baba Vijay Das, who immolated himself in protest against illegal mining in Pasopa of Bharatpur, the saints left with Baba’s ashes from the Man temple in Barsana and reached Govardhan on Friday. The saints are travelling through Braj with Baba’s ashes in a chariot.

The water of all the religious lakes around Govardhan and Barsana were collected and placed in the chariot. Water will be collected from Vimal Kund and Gaya Kund in Kaman. The chariot will then reach Pasopa village via Adibadri Dham. A Bhagwat Katha will be organized in Pasopa. After this, Baba’s samadhi will be built at Pashupatinath temple, whose Mahant he was. Meanwhile, District Collector Alok Ranjan along with others paid a visit to grand daughter of Baba Vijay Das and gave the financial aid.
