Safety concerns prompt students to meet ADM
Jaipur: A group of female students residing at Vinayak PG in Barkat Nagar area of Tonk Phatak, reached the Collectorate seeking security after facing repeated incidents of suspicious men entering their PG covertly.
The students had earlier complained to the local police, but their concerns went unheard and no complaint was officially registered. Frustrated, they approached the Collectorate, where they met ADM (I) Vineeta Singh. ADM Singh directed SDM Rajesh Jakhar to address their issue.
SDM Rajesh Jakhar, in turn, advised the students to meet the Bajaj Nagar police station in charge to file their complaint. The PG houses about 60 female students, who are all worried about their safety.
