RUSU Gen Secy breaks lock of Central Library

Jaipur: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) student leaders broke open the locks of the Central Library, on Monday, which had been closed for a long time. RU General Secretary Arvind Jajra reached the Central Library along with the students and did sloganeering before breaking the locks. ABVP National Min Hoshiyar Meena said that about 85% work of the library being built for the last five years has been completed. “Only the furniture work remains. CM Gehlot was called 3-4 times for its inauguration, but he did not come,” he said.

“On Monday, Jajra, reached the university and broke the locks of the Library which was built at a cost of Rs 5 cr. Those who passed the bill, including the contractor who built the library, ate money. Students’ studies were getting hampered as the library was shut. The library’s locks have been broken in student’s interest,” he added
