Ruckus in JMCG HQs over 2 temporary staff

Jaipur: Angry over not getting two temporary employees, BJP councilors on Monday created a ruckus at the JMCG Headquarters.

They created uproar outside commissioner Mahendra Soni’s chamber, raised slogans and sat on a dharna. Later, they held a meeting with the commissioner in the EC hall in which the councilors were assured that two temporary employees will be made available soon.

Mayor Dr Somya and Deputy Mayor Puneet Karnawat were also present in the meeting. However, they kept distance from the protest.

Karnawat even said that his opinion is not sought in any matter so why should he lead the demonstration, which indicated rift among the councilors.
