Jaipur: Governor Kalraj Mishra has issued orders for appointment to the post of Vice Chancellor in Rajasthan University, Jaipur & Pandit Deendayal University, Sikar. Rajasthan University finally gets a woman VC after 77 years. Prof Alpana Kateja of Economics Department of Rajasthan University has been appointed to the post of Vice Chancellor

According to the order issued by Mishra, Prof. Anil Kumar Rai, Dean of the Dept of Humanities and Sociology of Mahatma Gandhi International University, Wardha has been appointed as VC of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Shekhawati University, Sikar. Mishra has appointed them for 3 years from the date of assuming charge or till they attains the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.
