RTO transfers stuck despite Dy CM’s nod
Jaipur: The posting process for new RTOs in Kota and Bikaner is currently on hold, despite Dy CM Dr PC Bairwa’s recommendations for appointments in these locations. The RTO position in Kota has been vacant since the retirement of the previous RTO, while the current RTO in Bikaner, Rajesh Sharma, has been promoted to Joint Commissioner. However, no action has been taken so far, as the file for appointment of new RTOs has not yet reached the ARD or Dy CM. Dr Bairwa suspended transport inspectors Prabhat Ranjan, Jitendra Meena, and Dheer Singh in Dholpur for illegally collecting fees from trucks, following orders from Transport Headquarters.
