RTH STIR DAY 12: MEDICAL COUNCIL SEEKS DETAILS OF STRIKING DOCTORS
Jaipur: The Rajasthan Medical Council Registrar Dr Manish Sharma after instructions of the Human Rights Commission has written a letter to all medical college principals seeking information about name, date of birth, and council registration of striking resident doctors. The doctors have been on strike against the Right to Health Bill.
The resident doctor leaders came forward after two days for the first time after talks with the state government. President of JARD Dr Neeraj Damor and other resident leaders were present at RD Hostel.
Meanwhile, ‘Pol Khol Yatra’ was started from Jaipur on Friday. After leaving Jaipur, this journey of doctors passed through several villages and towns and reached Sikar district collectorate late in the evening with a torch. Doctors of Jaipur handed over the torch to Dr. Deepika and Bharti sitting on Sikar protest. The torch passed through Laxmangarh, Fatehpur, Mandawa to Jhunjhunu.
