Rs 93.27 cr for Cottage Ward and OT Block in MDM Hospital, Jodhpur

Jaipur: Operation Theatre Block (25 OT) and Cottage Ward Block with 100 beds will be constructed at Mathuradas Mathur Hospital in Jodhpur. CM Ashok Gehlot has approved a financial proposal of Rs 93.27 crore for this.

As per the proposal, Rs 42.32 crore has been sanctioned for construction of OT block and Rs 29.16 crore for equipment. Along with this, cottage ward block will be constructed at a cost of Rs 20.80 crore and equipment worth Rs 99 lakh will be purchased for it. With this decision, medical facilities will be expanded in Jodhpur and the common man will get better medical facilities.

It is noteworthy that the announcement in this regard was made by the Chief Minister in the budget for the year 2023-24.
