Rs 6.83 crore seized from ARL group in IT raids

Jaipur: Cash and jewelry worth Rs 6.83 crore have been seized in the income tax action being taken against the units, warehouses, and associates of ARL Group.

The seizure includes cash worth Rs 50 lakh and gold jewellery weighing 9.55 kg worth Rs 6.13 crore.

Income Tax officials said that the promoters of the group’s flagship company ARL Infratech Limited had evaded income tax of Rs 50 crore.

The action of the IT department continued on Saturday on ARL Group.
