Jaipur: Along with mines in the state, a new record of revenue generation is being created daily in the mineral oil and natural gas sector as well. ACS Mines & Petroleum Dr Subodh Agarwal said that in the financial year 2022-23, Rs 4,889 crore 17 lakh has been earned from mineral oil and natural gas sector which is Rs 893.77 crore as compared to the previous FY. He informed that the state govt has earned a record revenue of more than Rs 12,100 cr 86 lakh from the mines and petroleum sector as a whole.

Expressing happiness over this, Mines Min Pramod J Bhaya said that new dimensions of revenue generation are being established daily by the Mines and Petroleum Dept in the state.
