Robbery at ex-judge’s house by men posing as ACB sleuths

Jaipur: Robbery at a retired judge’s house on Friday in the Mansarovar area of Jaipur has once again exposed the deteriorating law and order situation in the state. The miscreants entered the house with a country-made pistol, held the family hostage and fled with cash, jewellery and laptop.

The SHO said that the four armed miscreants took retired magistrate Rajesh Narayan (61) and his son, who lived behind Dhanwantri Hospital, hostage. They decamped with 10,500 cash and Gold, Silver jewellery from the locker of cupboard. Mansarovar police station has collected evidence from the spot with help of FSL team. The dog squad was also called.

The miscreants said that they were from ACB and held the family hostage at gunpoint, police added.
