Roads are key indicator of any state’s devp, says Diya

Jaipur: While addressing a workshop at Nirman Bhawan, Dy CM and PWD Minister Diya Kumari said that good roads are the first requirement for the economic, social and industrial development of the state. “Roads are the first indicator of development of any state. When a person comes from outside, he creates an impression of the development of a state in his mind just by seeing the roads,” she said. She also directed the officers regarding quality in work and time bound work. The workshop on financial models for road infra devp was organised by IIFCL Projects & PWD. “There is a lot of potential for economic, industrial, and tourism devp in Raj for which good roads are paramount,” she said.
