RISF to be formed to provide security to industrial units
Jaipur: Rajasthan Industrial Security Force will be formed to provide security to the industrial units of the state. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal to this effect. Three battalions will be formed in the Rajasthan Industrial Security Force. The headquarters of these battalions will be at Bhiwadi, Chittorgarh and Balotra.
They will be formed on the lines of the Central Industrial Security Force. Gehlot has approved creation of a total of 3072 new posts for all the three battalions. CM has approved a financial proposal of about Rs 21 crore for providing various vehicles, furniture etc. and other facilities to the battalions. With this, a comfortable and safe environment will be made available to industrial units of State. This will speed up industrial development of the State.
