RIICO asked to stop construction work

Regional Forest Officer Rakesh Jakhar reached the site and stopped the work. The LNT machine deployed there was seized. Competent officers and engineers of RIICO also reached the spot but were restrained.

Jaipur: RIICO officials were on Saturday restrained from carrying out work in the Nahargarh Wildlife Sanctuary eco-sensitive zone without the permission of the Forest Department.

RIICO was constructing a pucca drain and leveling the sanctuary land with the waste and polluted material coming out of factories in Beed Papad in Vishwa Karma Industrial Area.

On the basis of the information given by Kamal Tiwari, a forest lover, Assistant Conservator of Forests, Gajanfar Ali Zaidi, reached the spot.
