RHB to start application process for 1,400 units

Jaipur: There is good news for the people waiting to buy flats, villas and shops built by the housing board as more than 1,400 units will be built by the board in Jaipur. The board will start their application process by the end of this month.

This decision was taken on Thursday in the 170th meeting of the project committee under the chairmanship of Kunjilal Meena, Principal Secretary, Urban Development Department. Several other important decisions were also taken in the meeting held at the Rajasthan Housing Board headquarters.

Housing Commissioner Pawan Arora said that more than a dozen cases were discussed in detail in the meeting and necessary guidelines were given. In the meeting, information was given about the implementation of the decisions taken in the 169th meeting held on June 8.

“In the meeting approval was given to construct Pratap Nagar Sector-8, 244 multi-storey houses in Chetak Marg, 297 flats in Sector 22, 124 flats for MNIT in Sector 26, 164 villas in Sector 28, 132 shops, 56 flats in Iconic Tower, 39 MIG flats in Sector 22 itself and 325 multi-storeyed flats in Sector 23. Apart from this, 24 flats in Sector 11 of Hiran Magri Udaipur, 277 plots in Shahpura Housing Scheme were approved. During this, the rehabilitation plan of Board’s Indira Gandhi Nagar Yojna, Jaipur, to provide plots to the locals of village Kundanpura located on Ganga Marg, was approved,” Arora said.
