RERC issues new power tariff orders

Jaipur: The Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission has issued orders regarding new tariffs for electricity consumers.

As per the tariff of 2023-24, domestic consumers will get electricity on previous rates, but TOD time for industries has been reduced according to load management. Now instead of 12 am to 6 am, rebates will be available from 2 am to 6 am.

A discount of 7.5 per cent will be given on the use of electricity during this period. While the surcharge levied from 6 am to 10 am has been increased from 5 per cent to 7.5 per cent. The fuel surcharge will be included in the electricity bill.
