Reinstate unemployment benefits: Gehlot

Jaipur: Former CM Ashok Gehlot has demanded from the BJP led state government to restart unemployment allowance for youth. Gehlot highlighted that after the formation of the new government, the youth of the state have been deprived of the allowance. Gehlot reminisced about his former government’s initiative, where an unemployment allowance of up to Rs 4,500 was introduced. He expressed concern over the plight of many who have been unable to access this allowance, hampering them from pursuing further education.
