REDUCTION IN VAT RATES WILL PROVIDE RELIEF TO PUBLIC, SAYS CM SHARMA

Jaipur: In a significant development, officials of the Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association conveyed their appreciation to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma during a meeting held at his residence in OTS on Friday.

The Association hailed the reduction in VAT on petrol and diesel and the implementation of ‘one state, one price’ as longawaited and historic measures. Welcoming the Chief Minister with a turban and sweets, they emphasised the government’s commitment to prioritise the welfare of the common people.

President of the Association, Dr Rajendra Singh Bhati, lauded the State Government’s decision to slash VAT rates by 2 percent and hailed Rajasthan as the first state to implement ‘one state-one price.’ These decisions, taken in a recent Cabinet meeting, have notably eased the financial burden on the public.
