Redevp of Gandhi Nagar stn to be completed by Sept 2025

Jaipur: The new building of Gandhi Nagar railway station will be equipped with modern facilities and an air concourse.

The redevelopment work of the railway station is going at a fast pace and is scheduled to be completed by September 2025.

The construction work is being done at a cost of Rs 177.45 crores. Two buildings are proposed at the station. The main building will be of ground plus 2 other floors.

It will have a departure lobby, baggage scanner, security check, help desk, departure hall, RPF room, Head TC room etc.

Unreserved Waiting Hall, Executive Waiting Hall will be built on Platform 1. There will also be facilities like shops, toilets, baby food room etc.

The building will have mezzanine flooring. Railway offices will be built on the ground floor while access control, metal detector system will be on the 2nd floor.
