Jaipur: A record 7 crore 30 lakh ITRs have been filed with the Income Tax Department till July 31, the last date for filing ITR for general taxpayers. A total of 47 lakh 15,344 ITR was filed in Rajasthan with 9 lakh 85,315 ITRs deposited in the state in June. According to the data, 37 lakh 30,029 ITRs were deposited in July.

A total of 7 crore 30 lakh 56,696 ITRs were deposited across the country. More than 5 crore 27 lakh ITRs have been submitted under the new regime. On July 31 alone, 69.92 lakh ITRs were filed across the coutry. For the first time, 58.57 lakh taxpayers in the country filed their ITR by July 31.

More than 6 crore 38 lakh ITRs have been verified while processing of 2 crore 96 lakh 11,027 ITRs has started.
