RCDF creates record by selling 32.86L litres Saras milk in a day

Jaipur: The Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation has created a new record in milk sales by selling 32.86 lakh liters of Saras milk in a single day on April 22. Earlier, on January 10, a record was created by collecting 52.51 lakh litre of milk.

RCDF Administrator and Managing Director Sushma Arora said that this has been the highest sale of milk in a single day in the federation’s 45-year history. There has been an increase of more than 20 percent in the marketing of Saras milk in the financial year 2022-23.

In the financial year 2021-22, where an average of 18.74 lakh liters were sold per day, in 2022-23, it has increased to an average of 22.47 lakh liters per day. Arora expressed hope that the consumption of milk and other liquid milk products will increase in summer. With this, the milk marketing of the RCDF will be increased further.
