RCA appoints Dhananjai Singh Khimsar as acting President

Jaipur: The President of Nagaur District Cricket Association Dhananjai Singh Khimsar has been declared the Acting President of the Rajasthan Cricket Association. This decision was taken in the meeting of the executive committee which was convened on Saturday at KL Saini stadium.

Son of Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar has taken the place of Vaibhav Gehlot, son of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Vaibhav Gehlot had resigned a few days back which paved the way for a new president in the cricketing body. On this occasion, Khimsar said that the development of the sport and the welfare of cricketers will be his priority. Notably, Gehlot had resigned after there was a plan to bring a no-confidence motion against him.
