RCA adhoc committee files plaint against ex-officials

Jaipur: A complaint has been lodged against three former officials of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA). The RCA Adhoc Committee has filed the complaint at police station against former Secy Bhavani Samota, former Treasurer Rampal Sharma, and former Joint Secretary Rajesh Bhadana. These officials were part of former President Vaibhav Gehlot’s executive committee. The Adhoc Committee has also submitted an investigation report to the police, alleging corruption from the construction of the stadium to irregularities during IPL matches. BJP legislator and Adhoc Committee convenor Jaideep Bihani filed the complaint.

Bihani stated on matter, “Even though Rampal Sharma has joined BJP, it does not mean that corruption should go unpunished. If he has committed corruption involving cricket and players, strict action should be taken against him.” He also mentioned that an investigation into decisions made during previous executive committee’s tenure. The committee has provided a report exceeding 350 pages.
