Rathore meets PM, Birla and other leaders in Delhi

New Delhi/Jaipur: A day after his appointment as LoP in the Assembly, Rajendra Rathore visited Delhi on Monday and called on the senior party leaders. He met several Union Ministers and leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President JP Nadda. Rathore also met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Kiren Rijiju, Bhupender Yadav, Kailash Choudhary, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hanuman Beniwal. During this, the leaders also shared old experiences.

The post of Leader of the Opposition was lying vacant since Gulab Chand Kataria became the Governor of Assam. The legislators on Sunday, unanimously elected Rajendra Rathore as the Leader of the Opposition and Dr Satish Poonia as the Deputy Leader of the Opposition.
