Ranthambore: T-79 missing, its 2nd cub dead, 3rd critical

Jaipur: The second cub of tigress T-79 has reportedly died in Ranthambore on Thursday. The info about the death of the second cub came from Bhairupura area. Meanwhile, the Tigress T-79 has not been seen for a long time. It was last seen in the camera trap on August 16. Questions are being raised on surveillance and monitoring in Ranthambore.

A cub had died two days ago and the condition of the third cub is also critical. It is being administered drip at Phalodi outpost.

After First India reported the matter, the Ranthambore Park administration has announced a reward to anyone who provides information about T 79. They have appealed to the villagers around Bhairupura area to inform them if they see the tigress. Ranthambore’s DCF Mohit Gupta gave info regarding this.
