Ranger Sanjay Sharma suspended

Jaipur: For a long time, despite complaints of illegal mining being received against Ranger Sanjay Sharma, no action was taken, but now with the change of govt in the state, Sanjay Sharma has been suspended on corruption charges. On Jan 12, on the orders of the Bundi Collector, the Revenue and Forest Dept discovered illicit mining of around 10,800 metric tons of forest produce. Vehicles & equipment valued at more than 1 cr were confiscated & turned over to then-Dabi Ranger Sharma.
